What about Hurricanes?
Though our fabric is among the most durable in the industry, Hurricanes present a unique challenge. Therefore, we recommend removing the shade sails to prevent damage from high-velocity hurricane winds.
Removing the fabric is an easy process. Simply loosen the threaded turnbuckle mounts that secure the shade sales at each support point. Unhook the sail fold and store the sail indoors, away from the high winds. Just reverse the process to re-install the sail once the storm has passed. We will show you how to do this when we install your shade sail.
